High excess fees making it futile to make a claim!
My son recently got diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma which is a type of cancer. We of course wanted to get the treatment started straight away and at the time holidays had no relevance to us. But we thought we were safe in the knowledge that we were covered by Tripsure! We were going to have a few days in La Touquet for a family of 5 which cost us about £380. We followed all instructions and even payed £20 for a medical certificate from the local doctors. The reply was, sorry no can do as your access is £125 per person! I obviously missed this in the small print but wanted to warn everyone else about this extortionate excess fee!
