When a lorry hit our parked (5 day old) car, and sc****d the wing and mirror, I wasn’t best pleased that they tried to drive off - oblivious to the fact my husband, baby and myself were in the car until I lay on the horn. Direct line were fantastic and took over contacting the company to arrange their insurance to cover my costs. The arranged for a replacement car while my car was getting repaired and even delivered it to my street so I wouldn’t be inconvenienced trying to get to work. They arranged pick up and return of my car too and all was done in 5 days.
After a claim that wasn’t fault I rang the insurer the lady was very rude not understanding and very condescending about my havin points in my licence.
Although the car was repaired to my satisfaction, I would not insure with them again. Very dissatisfied with the service and staff.
